The Commission Delegated Regulation, released in November, 2023, aims to enhance the provision of EU-wide multimodal travel information services. It supports the European Green Deal and the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy by promoting connected and automated multimodal mobility. The key amendments include mandatory accessibility of dynamic datasets, inclusion of new data types, support for sustainable transport, and enhanced passenger information. The key objective is to make travel across the EU more efficient, sustainable, and user-friendly.
